GOLF SHOW FEATURES:
Long Drive & Hit the Yardage Contests
The Pro's Choice Rock Hard Long Drive Contest and Hit the Yardage Contest are some of the hottest events sweeping across the country in consumer golf shows. State-of-the-art radar equipment calibrated to measure a golf ball's distance is used in special designed hitting cages. In just the last three years alone, over 100,000 golfers have competed in these contests allowing participants to test new product from the industry's leading manufacturers. Cost is $6 per contest or $10 for both.
Long Drive Contest
The "grip it and rip it" competition affords each player five (5) shots to achieve their longest drive. Longest drive will remain posted throughout the course of the show. A daily prize is awarded to the longest drive plus the top three drives over the course of the show will be awarded grand prizes.
Hit the Yardage
This competition is played like a par 3 hole except there is no putting. Each player gets five (5) shots to hit the preset yardage. Everyone who "hits the yardage" receives a prize along with having his/her name placed in the grand prize drawing at the close of the show.
$10,000 Putting Contest
Here's your chance to test your skills and putt for $10,000! Here participants get a chance to sink 3 putts (10', 25' and 50') and walk away with $10,000. There are no tricks or obstacles to contend with - just straight putts that are sunk every day on area courses. ALL who make the 10 footer and the 25 footer will win prizes, and they will have QUALIFIED for the $10,000 PUTT OFF, where one skilled/lucky contestant will roll the ball from 50 feet - if it drops they are a $10,000 WINNER!
You've heard the saying "close but no cigar," well with this event all paying participants will be given a tee pack or divot tool for their efforts. Anyone who sinks any one of the 3 putts will receive a vacation certificate useable at 18 popular golf destinations (i.e. Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, etc.).
A portion of the proceeds go to the Billy Casper Youth Foundation "Billy's Kids".
Tell the salesperson you would like to take a few practice swings or feel free to use any of the demo clubs provided at the practice area.
